The Fendt brand carries a cachet with its German heritage. But since 1997, the brand has been part of the Agco family and has been marketed in the U.S. since 1998. Yet, more than 20 years later, as 2019 is being called the “Year of Fendt” by Agco, there’s a first for the company — a tractor designed specifically for the U.S. row crop market.

Meet the new Fendt 900 Generation 6 Series of tractors. With five models ranging from 296 to 415 hp, these machines offer a range of new features building on what Fendt launched with the 1000 Series (sold in the U.S. in a Challenger version, too).

The new 900 uses the latest version of the Fendt Vario continuously variable transmission — a first the company launched in Europe in 1995. In addition, the machine packs in a range of other features. Peruse the gallery to learn more about the newest Fendt machine, which is part of a greater effort by Agco to expand the brand in the United States.

Check out the video below for a 360 view of the new machine.
