You don’t have to have a new product to catch people’s attention. A well-designed, sleek, effective product can have the same effect. The ProFill II from RoadRuner fits the bill. It’s a pump-and-meter system for your sprayer or nurse trailer that can fill either one in about seven minutes. And it fits in a 4-by-4-foot space.
You can custom-design this unit to meet your needs. Choose from manual or automatic meters for up to six products. You can meter down to 1.3 ounces on the standard model, and RoadRuner technicians can help you go even lower if necessary.
The unit with a Honda motor and electric start is housed inside a heavy-duty, 3/16-inch-thick enclosure for long life. A 3-inch John Blue cast-iron pump with wet seal allows it to run dry, and Banjo flange fittings prevent leaks. A three-way ball valve allows induction when the sprayer is full.
Since the ProFill II uses volumetric metering for products, no calibration is necessary with any products. Yet spokespeople claim it’s extremely accurate, from less than 1 gallon to 100-plus gallons. You can shut the door to the unit and it’s totally enclosed and protected from the weather. It even comes with weather stripping for increased protection from the elements. It’s set up for clean rinsing of chemical units.
The ProFill II may not be new to the market, but if you’re after a spray metering system that’s accurate, compact and efficient, this one is worth a look.
