Big Iron Auctions will acquire Sullivan Auctioneers LLC.

Two major auction companies are coming together with the announcement that BigIron Auctions and Sullivan Auctioneers LLC are joining forces. BigIron is acquiring Sullivan, based in Hamilton, Ill. The agreement was finalized on July 22 and it will bring 300 employees together to serve the online auction industry.

In a release announcing the acquisition, Mark Stock, BigIron CEO, commented: “Our shared philosophies of transparency, trust and hard work solidified our decision to combine organizations.”

Big Iron Auctions and Sullivan Auctioneers will move forward as BigIron Company with locations in Omaha, Columbus and St. Edwards, Neb.; Hamilton, Ill.; Huntington, Ind.; and Bird Island, Minn. Mark and Ron Stock will continue to head the Nebraska auctions, while Dan, Joe, Matt, Luke and Michael Sullivan will continue to lead the Hamilton, Huntington and Bird Island locations.
