Wireless weather

THE VANTAGE PRO2 wireless weather station from Davis Instruments Corporation uses frequency-hopping spread-spectrum radio technology to transmit and receive data up to 1,000 ft. (line of sight) to a console every 2.5 sec. It tracks weather variables, including temperature (indoor and outdoor), barometric pressure, humidity, rainfall, rainfall rate, wind, wind chill and dew point. More than 70 alarms can be set to generate alerts for specific conditions. The console can graph weather data over various time periods using 80 built-in graphs. It also can be linked to a personal computer to create individualized graphs, calculate totals and averages, generate summaries and analyze trends.
