A FRESH START: An upcoming dairy management webinar series is designed to re-energize farms and help improve performance. The series runs June 3 to July 1.

June webinars focus on dairy business management

Cornell Pro-Dairy webinars will be held Wednesdays at 1 p.m. starting June 3.

The Northeast Dairy Management Webinar Series is a five-part series designed to re-energize businesses and improve performance, even in these challenging times.

It will include presentations and speakers that would have been featured at the Northeast Dairy Management Conference in March. The conference and these webinars are both put on by Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ Pro-Dairy program and the Northeast Dairy Producers Association.

The series will include one-hour webinars each Wednesday at 1 p.m. starting June 3 and continuing through July 1 in honor of June Dairy Month.

The webinars will be recorded and available to registered participants.

Speakers include Tom Wall of Dairy Coach LLC; Phil Plourd of Blimling and Associates; Cheryl Jones of the University of Kentucky; and Steve Bodart of Compeer Financial.

A farm labor producer panel, moderated by Rich Stup of Cornell Ag Workforce Development, will wrap up the series on July 1.

The Northeast Dairy Management Webinar series is free through support from industry sponsors, but registration is required. Registered participants will receive links to all five weekly presentations and will have access to the recorded sessions.

Links to join webinars are provided upon completion of online registration. Learn more by visiting Cornell Pro-Dairy online.
