READY TO ROLL
Ohio Relief Haulers brought hay and many other supplies to Nebraska and Iowa.
A total of 52 trucks made the 2,000-mile round trip.
Chrissy and Josh Yoder, who farm in Champaign and Logan counties in Ohio, were among more than 100 volunteers who drove west to deliver nearly 2,000 bales of hay; 20-plus tons of feed products; fence posts, barbed wire and horse supplies; and eight trailers of people, animal and vet supplies.
The caravan of trucks received many honks and waving hands along the way.
Here, a portion of the more than 100 volunteers pose for a picture.
The task of cataloging and coordinating the loading of supplies was done by Brittany Hamlin of Rootstown, Ohio.
