Dimilin+Boron Bumps Up Yield

Research at the University of Georgia and other Southern universities indicates that applying a Dimilin-boron combination can increase soybean yield and profit.

Small doses of Dimilin, an insect growth regulator, have proved effective against velvetbean caterpillar, green cloverworm and soybean looper. The product also is associated with plant growth and yield increases unrelated to insect damage.

Boron is an essential nutrient that often is deficient in sandy soils. Georgia tests have revealed that foliar applications of boron at podding can increase yields. At low rates, it's very soluble in water and easily applied with Dimilin by air or ground equipment.
