Deadline extended for WAE Top 10

World Ag Expo has extended the deadline to Aug. 20 for entries in the Expo’s Top 10 new products for 2011.

For the sixth year, a panel of judges will select 10 new products to highlight at the Expo, scheduled for Feb. 8–10, 2011 in Tulare, Calif.

“Innovations in agriculture production and business are our tools for success,” said Lee Coito, 2011 World Ag Expo chairman. “The Top 10 competition honors the best of the best in agriculture innovation.”

Each entry is evaluated by a panel of production agriculturalists, agricultural businessmen and university representatives. The Top 10 are showcased at the New Products Center.

Top 10 winners will again have the chance to win the “Attendees’ Choice Award.” Last year, this honor went to Magswitch Magnets.

“This award is significant for Magswitch and we are honored to be embraced by the agricultural industry. Recognition on an international stage at World Ag Expo, makes the award that much more significant to our expansion,” said Dave Morton, Magswitch chief executive officer.

“Magswitch products received extensive press coverage through the Expo and will receive extended coverage worldwide via agriculture media as a result of this award,” Morton said.
