Data collectors

Raven Industries' Flow Control Division introduces the Databoy data-logging system that connects to a GPS receiver, flashcard and viewing software for a complete mapping package. It collects data in ASCII format and stacks on most Raven consoles. Price: $599; with 32-Mb memory card and RPR 100 GPS receiver, $1,995.

The company also offers the Flow Max 220 self-contained flowmeter console that measures liquid pumped from a nurse tank to a sprayer. The console displays flow rate and totals in gallons or liters per minute or hour. A 3.6v battery can measure up to 1.5 million gallons. Price: $690.

The RPR 100 and 110 DGPS receivers are also new to the Raven lineup. The receivers use the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) correction. The 100 can be used for data logging, scouting or yield monitoring and the 110 can be used with lightbars. Price: RPR 100, $1,200; 110 DGPS, $2,595; 110 DGPS with the Swathsmart lightbar, $4,190.
