Preregister for the 2019 Orchard and Vineyard Show in Acme, Mich.

SHOWTIME: The exhibit hall will be open during the show to feature vendors of orchard and vineyard equipment and supplies.

The 2019 Northwest Michigan Orchard and Vineyard Show is Jan. 15-16 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme. Registration opens at 8 a.m. on Jan. 15, and the cost for both days is $35 in advance or $40 at the door. 

Meeting attendees are encouraged to arrive well before the 9 a.m. start time. Both days will feature educational programs and vendor exhibits. The fruit industry luncheon and the grape luncheon will be Jan. 15.

The Cherry Marketing Institute annual meeting and luncheon will be Jan. 16. The day’s luncheon is free to cherry growers if they preregister with the Cherry Marketing Institute by calling 517-669-4264 or emailing [email protected].

The exhibit hall will be open during the show to feature vendors of orchard and vineyard equipment and supplies, commodity organizations, and other exhibitors.

Both days will offer a variety of topics relating to research and information on tart cherries, sweet cherries, apples and winegrapes addressing production and marketing. This year, grape sessions will be held on both days. Jan. 15 will conclude with a social hour.

Jan. 16’s general cherry and apple sessions will open with the annual meeting of the Cherry Marketing Institute, followed by its luncheon.

The program is co-sponsored by the Grand Traverse Fruit Growers’ Council, Michigan State University Extension and AgBioResearch, Cherry Marketing Institute, Parallel 45 and the MSU Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center.
