The 42nd annual California Association of Pest Control Advisers Conference and Agri-Expo opened in Anaheim, Calif. Oct. 16 to record attendance amidst a venue touted as "The Happiest Place On Earth" - Disneyland.

Under the theme "Feeding a Nation, Fighting the Fear," about 1,600 registered participants and 170 different trade show vendors packed the Disneyland Convention Center for two days of information sharing and networking.

The opening reception was full of getting together with friends and making new ones, plus a surprise visit by mock political candidates - "Donald Trump" and "Hillary Clinton." The reception was sponsored by Gar Tootelian.
