ALL EARS: Kansas Corn is hosting its annual Summer Listening Tour at six locations around the state, starting Aug. 2 and wrapping up Aug. 17.Jennifer M. Latzke

For more than 45 years, Kansas Corn has stayed true to its roots, working for Kansas corn farmers and their future.

Join members at a Summer Listening Tour stop to enjoy good food, great company and learn how Kansas Corn is working for corn growers to build markets, educate and advocate for the industry, both in Topeka and Washington, D.C.

Kansas Corn hosts this annual listening tour to meet with corn farmers to talk about the many issues surrounding the corn and ag industries. Join the fun at one of six listening tour stops. A key focus at each dinner is to get feedback and listen to corn farmers questions and concerns. The grower feedback the association receives is valued by members and commission boards in their planning.

The Kansas locations and dates for tour stops are:

  • Sterling. Aug. 2 (Tuesday) at Splitter Farms, 1810 22nd Road, Sterling

  • Buffalo. Aug. 8 at Hobbs Farms, 13052 2100 Road, Buffalo

  • Hugoton. Aug. 10 at Bonnie & Clyde’s Grill & Sports Bar, 615 Monroe St., Hugoton

  • Hoxie. Aug. 11 at Double R Farms, 6486 N 100 Road, Hoxie

  • Courtland. Aug. 16 at Irrigation Ales, 414 Main St., Courtland

  • Hiawatha. Aug. 17 at Howard Farms, 1487 280th St., Hiawatha
