The February 2020 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $3.58 per bushel according to the latest USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service’s Agricultural Prices report, released by the USDA-NASS Minnesota Field Office.
This was one cent below the January price but 17 cents above the February 2019 price.
The February 2020 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $7.82 per bushel, was down 62 cents from the January price and down 56 cents from the February 2019 price.
The February 2020 price for spring wheat was $4.38 per bushel, down 51 cents from January and $1.15 below February 2019.
All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $138 per ton in February, down $7 from the January price and $35 per ton less than February 2019.
The alfalfa hay price was $156 per ton, down $7 from January and $23 below a year ago. The other hay price was $101, down $12 from January and $51 below a year ago.
The February average price for milk was $19.80 per cwt, down 50 cents from January but up $3.10 from one year ago.
