Retailer Wes Bradley says his customers are facing serious hurdles when it comes to getting effective corn weed control. Bradley, who has worked in the ag retail industry for more than 20 years, is currently the manager for two Nutrien Ag Solutions locations in west Tennessee. He says pigweed and glyphosate-resistant grasses currently cause the most problems.
So, when his Corteva Agriscience representative offered a chance to trial Kyro™ herbicide in 2023, Bradley took it. The new postemergence premix solution contains three unique modes of action for unmatched control of resistant broadleaf and grass weeds. Kyro herbicide also delivers ultimate versatility to fit easily into most corn growers’ current management programs.
As the video above shows, Bradley tested Kyro herbicide on about 1,200 of a customer’s difficult corn acres last year. Both Bradley and his customer were so pleased with the results, Bradley ordered twice the amount for the 2024 season.
