Precision Laboratories has created a new iPhone app for farmers called Mix Tank. This app will help farmers follow the correct mixing sequences of crop protection products. As a result, farmers should experience fewer problems with sprayer clogging, which occurs with incorrect mixing.

The Mix Tank app offers help in determining the mixing sequence for pesticides, adjuvants and other foliar nutrition products. Precision Labs says more than 700 crop products are included on this iPhone and iPod application. The new app also lets users review details, features, benefits, and use rates and then share results via Facebook, Twitter and e-mail.

Mix Tank may be downloaded for free at bit.ly/MixTank. Precision Laboratories plans to offer a website-based version for other smartphones and computers.
