Farm Industry News contributing editor Mark Moore recently attended the DLG Field Days event for crop production professionals and the public, held in Bernburg-Strenzfeld, Germany, June 19-21. The event was held at the DLG International Crop Production Center, which was established in 2010 by DLG. Harald Teutenberg, head of communications for DLG, gives an overview of the event, which focuses on five areas: applied research in agriculture sciences, educational exhibits, machinery testing, DLG Academy, and DLG’s efforts to connect modern agriculture with the public.
