Crop Management Seminar set Nov. 5-6

“Today’s cotton grower faces many challenges to produce a cotton crop,” says Patricia O’Leary, coordinator of the seminar for Cotton Incorporated. “Topping the list are an evolving pest complex, instability in currently available cotton varieties, and shifting environmental and economic conditions.”

The seminar will provide an opportunity for crop consultants and cotton researchers working on solutions to production issues to discuss the events of the current growing season, exchange ideas, share information, and learn about new technologies on the horizon.

“Audience participation is important to the success of this seminar,” she says. “So, please come prepared to voice your opinions, ask questions, and join in the discussions.”

The seminar will be held at the Grand Casino Tunica Resort Convention Center in Robinsonville. In addition to the technical program, Cotton Incorporated will provide complimentary meals on Tuesday evening and during the seminar on Wednesday.

Included in this year’s seminar is a COTMAN™ workshop to demonstrate the newest features of the program.

A tentative outline for the seminar along with hotel information, registration forms and additional information on the workshop can be found at the Cotton Incorporated Web site:
