Chuck Coley may not have picked the easiest year to become chairman of the National Cotton Council. Since assuming his new post at the NCC’s annual meeting in February, Coley has been busy working with Council leaders on preparations for what appears to be a stepped-up schedule for  passage of the 2012 farm bill. Coley discussed some of the farm bill issues the Council faces during a speech at the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show in Memphis.
