Fourth generation Arizona farmer K.C. Gingg of Tolleson is the new president of the Arizona Cotton Growers Association (ACGA).
Gingg is the group’s 35th top leader.
“We will diligently work to watch and protect our farm water rights to secure the future of our industry,” said Gingg after his election.
Gingg has served 15 years on the ACGA board, and is also a member of the American Cotton Growers and Cotton Incorporated.
In other ACGA elections, Michael Brooks was elected the new secretary. Ian Smith was elected as the District 4 board representative, representing Queen Creek, Florence, and Coolidge.
