Controlling insects continues to be a challenge for cotton producers everywhere. New Bt traits have helped in that effort, but some research is beginning to show growers can use new insecticides to control bollworm pests in conventional cotton. USDA’s Randy Luttrell discussed that research at Cotton Incorporated’s Crop Management Seminar in Tunica, Miss.
