When consumers have more money they buy more clothes. That sounds like a truism, but it’s an economic reality that can be tracked on charts showing world GDP growth. The National Cotton Council’s Gary Adams talked about the prospects for Real GDP growth in 2012 and what it could mean for cotton consumption in a presentation at the Economic Symposium at this year’s Beltwide Cotton Conferences.
