Farmland visions: the People and Places of Southwest Agriculture, is a collage of photographs by Southwest Farm Press Editor Ron Smith that shows some of the haunting beauty of the rural Southwest, along with some of the people who raise the livestock, grain and cotton that defines the region. We’ve paired these photographs—including cotton harvest shot from a helicopter, farm kids, sunrises, crops in bloom, wheat ready for the combine and faces that tell their own stories—with music that helps bring the images to life. We hope you enjoy viewing this video presentation as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
