Until fairly recently, two companies supplied most of the cottonseed that was planted in the United States. Now, there are some newcomers to the cotton business, and one of those, Dow AgroSciences, is now claiming a 20 percent to 22 percent market share with its Phytogen cotton varieties. Dow AgroSciences talked about that and other new developments for the company in an interview at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.
