Ag Market Network adds weekly cotton updates

Listen to live 5-minute updates on the cotton market every Friday, on the Ag Market Network website.

Timely information about the cotton markets is now available weekly. The Ag Market Network has added a new audio feature to its website, a 5-minute, weekly cotton recap presented each Friday at 6 p.m., by cotton market analyst O.A. Cleveland. Ag Market Network executive director Pat McClatchy says the weekly updates, along with a revamped website and a new phone-in option for Ag Market Network’s monthly conference calls, are designed to provide listeners with timely, up-to-the-minute news behind the cotton markets.

Sept. 12 conference call

The next Ag Market Network conference call is Sept. 12, at 7:30 a.m., the day after the release of USDA’s Sept. 11, Crop Production and World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates. Guest speaker will be O.A. Cleveland, professor emeritus, Mississippi State University.

Future guest speakers are Jarral Neeper, president, Calcot, Oct. 13, and John Robinson, Extension economist-cotton marketing, Texas A&M University.
