New technology was the order of the day as the Beltwide Cotton Conferences got underway with the Consultants Conference in San Antonio.

Consultants, growers and industry members heard about a number of new trait packages, pesticide application equipment and a new on-board module building cotton stripper during the Consultants meeting.

Although the Beltwide format has been changed, the conferences still attracted more than 1,100 persons for the three days of meetings, which are held annually in the first week of January.

Here's a look at some of those attending the opening day session.
