Comments in an article concerning application of Comite miticide on corn and attributed to Larry Godfrey, University of California Extension entomologist, in the July 21, 2007 issue of Western Farm Press were in error. In keeping with the product's label, the story should have said: “Ensure applications are made only when corn leaves are dry. This is especially true for white corn varieties, which are most susceptible to plant injury. Additional adjuvants are not recommended for use on corn in California.”

We regret any misunderstandings this oversight may have caused.
