Exporters reported 116,000 metric tons of corn and 131,000 of soybeans were sold to unknown destinations, USDA said on Friday.

Both sales are for 2014/2015 marketing year, which began for corn and soybeans on Sept. 1.

USDA's latest weekly export report showed that as of Sept 4, the unknown destination category had the most  2014/2015 corn sales year to date at 3.24 million tons and was No.2 market for soybeans with 6.38 million.

USDA issues both daily and weekly export sales reports to the public.  Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity, made in one day or quantities totaling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period.
