Aim EC has been added to the list of eligible OneSource products for the 2003 season. OneSource is the Griffin, Pioneer and DuPont cotton program that delivers product cost replacement due to adverse weather conditions, input cost reduction opportunities and planning simplicity.

“The addition of FMC Corp.'s Aim gives cotton growers even more options when it comes to the harvest aids they can select from when participating in the OneSource program,” says Scott Addy, Griffin's director of marketing. “This is another step forward in our continuing effort to broaden our cotton portfolio for OneSource and encourage even more growers to participate.

“Since Aim is also a popular tank-mix partner with CottonQuik, the addition of this product is a good fit in more ways than one.”

Jamie Leifker, FMC's product manager for Aim, says the product basically does three things to set up cotton for harvest.

“First it works fast to provide good defoliation,” he says. “And because it is a herbicide, it also desiccates escaped broadleaf weeds such as morningglory, pigweed and hemp sesbania, which can cause problems for harvesting equipment. Finally, Aim offers excellent removal of juvenile growth which helps in reducing lint grade due to trash and stain.”

In addition to Aim EC, the OneSource program includes the entire cotton product portfolios of both Griffin and DuPont.

To enroll in OneSource, growers can visit the OneSource website at http://onesource.agweb.com, call 866-268-8661 or ask their retailer to sign them up.
