Eleven teams of people from around the world visited the states of Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin following the Global Ethanol Summit in Washington, D.C., to get a better handle on the U.S. ethanol value chain. One team, including members from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, toured Kansas before the summit.

Delegations visited cooperatives to discuss retail competition and the technology of ethanol pumps, refineries to learn about ethanol retail fuel infrastructure and production and corn farms to gain a better understanding of ethanol feedstock production.
