The USDA NASS released the latest crop progress report Aug. 1. It shows the corn and soybean conditions in the 18 states that planted 93 percent of the 2015 corn and soybean acreage.

Overall, farmers are reporting that both crops are generally in good condition and both corn and soybeans are ahead of where they have been according to the four year average.
