The Board of Directors of Christensen Farms & Feedlots, Inc. announced several board and management changes in following the sudden death of CEO Bob Christensen last weekend.
Lynn Christensen was appointed chairman of the board of Christensen Farms, and current Chief Financial Officer Glenn Stolt was named interim Chief Executive Officer.
In addition, the board ratified the role of the existing advisory board and added one member, Tim Loula of the St. Peter Swine Vet Center.

"The passing of Bob is a tragic loss not just to Christensen Farms, but the entire pork industry," said Lynn. "We are committed to advancing the vision of the organization to be one of the premier pork production companies in the world. This is the best thing we can do to honor Bob's legacy."
Lynn noted his brother helped assemble a talented senior management team, comprised of individuals with significant industry experience, and combined that with others who bring complementary experience from various businesses.
"Under Glenn's leadership, the senior management team is poised to advance the strategic direction of the company while at the same time overseeing day-to-day operations," he said.
Advisory Board member Glenn Stolt said, "The addition of Dr. Loula, a world-renowned swine veterinarian and biosecurity expert, further complements an already strong advisory board. The senior management team and I look forward to working with the Board in meeting the mission of the organization."
