The summer sun is bright and warm, crops are in the ground and growing and the time for marketing your crops is right around the corner. Dave Dell, with Brock Grain Systems, will offer his advice on preserving the value of grain from harvest, through storage and transport to market, Kurt Barth and Jason Moss, of Brock Associates, will discuss different aspects of cash marketing, including proper use and timing of various contracts and the multitude of derivatives grain originators construct with various option strategies.

Alan Grafton will provide tips on how your farming operation can seize opportunities, while Drew Lerner, with World Weather, Inc., will discuss how weather and climate change may affect agriculture.

The seminar begins at 8 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, and concludes at noon, July 23.

Social events include a four-hour fishing excursion, barbeque dinner and a dolphin watch in the Gulf and Choctawahatchee Bay.
