Whether it’s through the latest germplasm, new seeds and traits, key crop protection products, or through initiatives like their Carbon program – delivering value to growers is a top priority for Bayer.

The Bayer Carbon Initiative rewards growers for implementing new, climate-smart farming practices, such as cover crops, no-till and strip-till. In addition to generating a new revenue stream, growers may get the many added benefits of improved soil quality.

"Farmers are the original conservationists,” said Andy Knepp, who heads Environmental Strategy & Industry Innovation at Bayer.  “It’s only right that they are rewarded for being part of the solution.”
