President Trump's tweet about more trade aid for farmers has lit up Twitter, coming only a day after Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said trade aid isn't likely in 2020.
IF OUR FORMALLY TARGETED FARMERS NEED ADDITIONAL AID UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE TRADE DEALS WITH CHINA, MEXICO, CANADA AND OTHERS FULLY KICK IN, THAT AID WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, PAID FOR OUT OF THE MASSIVE TARIFF MONEY COMING INTO THE USA!

Here's some of the back-and-forth.
Farmers and Ranchers love that President Trump is fighting for them...!!

No More Bad deals for the Farmers....
THREE YEARS AS HEAD OF GOVERNMENT AND YOU STILL HAVE NO IDEA HOW TARIFFS WORK

Tariffs are paid on a particular import or export. In the case of tariffs levied by the U.S. on China, those tariffs are paid for by importers who import products from China.
Best President ever. Who is with me?!

Just face it, your trade war/tariffs screwed over farmers.

Funny how much Trump rallies against socialism and then provides farmers corporate welfare to make up for his disastrous tariffs.
