Global Impact FFA members to represent Ohio

Global Impact STEM Academy announces two of its students, Jackson DeWitt and Mailynne Rudnicki, have qualified for the regional agriscience fair competition hosted by The Big E in West Springfield, Mass., this September.

Formerly known as the Eastern States Exposition, The Big E has been a premier event for showcasing the finest livestock; most innovative commercial, industrial, and artistic developments; and highest caliber of varied entertainment in the northeastern U.S. for over a century.

The Big E hosts 22 FFA career and leadership development events, including the competitive agriscience fair. DeWitt, a junior, and Rudnicki, an incoming freshman at Global Impact, earned their chance to be selected after winning their respective research categories and divisions during the 96th Ohio FFA Convention held in May.

Out of the 36 state winners from Ohio, only six student projects were selected to advance to the regional event, making this a unique and prestigious opportunity for DeWitt and Rudnicki.
