Having trouble figuring the value of the Average Crop Revenue Election program that was passed in the new farm bill? The National Corn Growers Association and state affiliates who pushed for ACRE in the 2008 Farm Bill, are offering a computer program designed by the University of Illinois to help you weigh the options.

The calculator performs a detailed benefit analysis of a producer's operations under traditional farm programs and ACRE to allow farmers to estimate their actual benefits.

Due to the potential value of ACRE to your operation, the Missouri Corn Growers Association is providing a limited number of calculators free of charge to members. If you are interested in using the calculator to determine which farm programs will work best for your operation contact the Missouri Corn office at (573) 893-4181.

Because the USDA has not finished its final rule making, some of the assumptions in the program could change and software updates will be available on online as rule making progresses.
