Voyageur Press has released two new photos books for tractor enthusiasts, just in time for the holiday season.

Legendary Farm Tractors is filled with 650 color photos of tractors from the 1880s to today. Included in its 208 pages are familiar brands such as John Deere, Ford, Farmall and Case and obscure tractors brands such as Porsche, Lanz and Waterloo Bronco.

Photography is by Andrew Morland, a well-known tractor photographer with more than 22 published tractor books. The book sells for $24.95, plus $4.95 per order for shipping and handling.

John Deere fans will enjoy The John Deere Tractor Legacy, published under license of Deere & Company. The book is edited by the John Deere historian and expert, Don Macmillan. Although the 256-page book includes 675 photos, it also contains extensive writings about Deere. Included is a biography of John Deere and excerpts from the writings of Deere engineers and historians.

Readers will find never-before-published material in the book, including accounts of the development of the Waterloo Boy, the Johnny Popper and the New Generation tractors. Also included is coverage of plows, implements, combines, cars, snowmobilies, lawn and garden tractors and bicycles.

The book sells for $39.95, plus $4.95 per order for shipping and handling.
