Rob-See-Co, an independent seed company based in Elkhorn, Neb., has hired Ryan Halls as its chief financial officer. Halls brings more than 13 years of experience in agriculture finance roles, including positions at Syngenta and Cargill, to Rob-See-Co.

“It is a pleasure to announce Ryan Halls as the newest addition to the Rob-See-Co leadership team,” said Rob Robinson, CEO of Rob-See-Co. “Ryan’s high level of experience in agriculture and finance makes him a key asset to the continued success of our operations. We are thrilled to have him on board.”

After serving two years with U.S. Gypsum Corp. (USG), Halls joined Syngenta in 2007 as a cost analyst and served in several roles in his 11 years there. He supported soybean production, supply chain and production planning for corn and soybeans, and global field production. Halls was the finance lead for sugarbeets, sunflowers and wheat, and was the Golden Harvest controller supporting sales and marketing. The last two years, Halls worked at Cargill, supporting cocoa and chocolate, and more recently in animal nutrition as a finance lead.

At Rob-See-Co, Halls will be responsible for accounting oversight, cash management and human resources.

“I’m honored to join the talented team at Rob-See-Co,” Halls says. “Their focus on a simple, transparent business, built on trusted relationships, was a selling point for me. Rob-See-Co’s company values, along with my expertise in agriculture and finance, make this role a great fit. I’m thrilled to work alongside industry experts.”
