There’s a change in the way farmers and their ag retailers work. The digitization of information and transactions has been spreading, but often the ag retailer may be on one system, but enhanced data and support are on another platform. For customers whose ag retailers rely on AgVend to provide that customer relationship a new collaboration with Winfield United opens access to new information.

In a press release announcing the new agreement, KC Graner, vice president of Central Farm Service, Rochester, Minn., notes his firm works with Winfield United and AgVend “so that our teams can provide the best possible digital experience to our customers.” The collaboration allows seamless access to Winfield United’s programs through the AgVend Platform, which he says allows his organization to improve the customer experience by providing internal teams and customers the tools they need.

The design of the relationship integrates Winfield United programs by connecting Winfield United’s Atlas portal to a retailer’s AgVend-built digital enablement platform. This enables Winfield United’s retail owners to maximize the value of their technology stack, provide a unified, digital experience to their teams and customers, and deliver timely insights and recommendations.

Brett Bruggeman, president of Winfield United, explains that “this collaboration, in combination with our owners’ trusted relationship with growers, will help retail sellers further differentiate themselves at the farmgate.”

The collaboration builds on AgVend’s integration ecosystem-based approach and expands Winfield United’s alliance mindset in working with digital partners like Microsoft, EarthDaily Agro, ITK, EFC Merchant Ag, Agvance and AgVantage to provide retailers and farmers solutions for their operations.

“This collaboration exemplifies how we, as agribusinesses, must work together to create a more dynamic and efficient supply chain,” says Alexander Reichert, CEO of AgVend.

In the first phase, participating sales teams, and growers will gain access to Winfield United proprietary programs – including loyalty and incentive programs, financing options, customized agronomic prescription plans, risk mitigation warranties and digital marketing programs through their retailer’s Agvend-built digital enablement platform. More offerings will be made available in the future as collaboration progresses.
