Going to Commodity Classic? Download the mobile app!

Going to Commodity Classic? Download the mobile app!

Are you going to Commodity Classic this year? Have you downloaded the mobile app to your phone yet? Make sure you do so you can use some of the great features, including maps, the whole schedule, a to-do list and tweeting.

Commodity Classic mobile appI used the app last year, and found it very easy to use. One of my favorite parts is going through the schedule, and choosing the sessions I want to attend. Then the app creates a schedule just for me. You can even set reminders! (Which are my saving grace!) For example, you'll want to check the schedule for Thursday, and add the 7am session to your own schedule. Our own Ed Usset will be talking grain marketing!

There is a space to take notes (for when you're sitting in all those sessions) and to create a to-do list.

There's a map of the huge tradeshow, which is really cool. And in the list of exhibitors, you can see which booth they're located in, and add them to your to-do list. For example, to visit Corn+Soybean Digest, you'll search for Penton Farm Progress. Our listing brings up our map location, and offers an option to add us to your to-do list. So be sure to do that! We're in booth 1023, 1025! Come by and say hello!

One of the neat features I'm looking forward to using this year is the Twitter feature, right in the app. You can follow the #Classic15 hashtag, and you can tweet from your own account right from the Commodity Classic app (you'll need to give the app permission to access your Twitter account).

So that's the app in a nutshell. Let me know if you use it this year, and tell me what parts you found most helpful!

See you at the show!
