With just one week before show time, we wanted to give you a sneak peek of some of the new products to be unveiled at the 2012 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. Today, we’ll give you a recap of what’s new from AGCO.

New from AGCO for model year 2013:

Sunflower 6631 vertical tillage system — The latest vertical tillage tool from Sunflower, designed primarily for spring tillage. Available in 35- and 40-foot widths.

Sunflower 4700 in-line ripper — AGCO says this new three-model series is designed to break through tough, compacted soil and flow through heavy residue conditions.

Sunflower 5056 Series field cultivator — Five new sizes of the company’s field cultivator, ranging from 45 to 63 feet wide.

Challenger 500C Series combine — New Class 7 and Class 8 combines designed to offer higher capacity and better fuel efficiency compared to previous models. The combines feature a redesigned multi-zone crop inlet and threshing system plus new in-line positioning of the AGCO Power 9.8-L, 7-cyl. engine.

Fendt 700 Series tractor — New six-model series, from 110 to 195 PTO hp, offering more horsepower and 10 percent better fuel efficiency than previous models, AGCO says.

Massey Ferguson GC1700 Series sub-compact tractors (22.5 and 24.5 engine HP) — Third generation of the Massey Ferguson sub-compact tractor, decked with new styling and user-friendly operating features.
