Six hundred people attended this year’s Western Alfalfa and Forage Symposium at the Peppermill Hotel in Reno, Nev. The event brought together producers, marketers, exporters and suppliers from the Western states. The event was sponsored by the University of California and Cooperative Extension Services of Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. The symposium attracted more than 70 commercial exhibitors.
