Air Hoe Drill

Increase your productivity by placing seed and applying fertilizer in one pass with John Deere's new air hoe drills. The flex-frame design of the 1830 and 1835 drills allows them to seed smoothly over uneven terrain. Deere claims the frame also encourages consistent seed depth and a smooth field finish.

The 1835 has a Separate Fertilizer Placement (SFP) system that accurately places nitrogen, potassium and sulfur-based fertilizers separate from the seed. Two depth control options are available.

The drills range in base list price from $47,462 (34-ft., 10-in.-spaced 1830 model) to $119,864 (61-ft., 10-in.-spaced 1835 air hoe drill with SFP). See your John Deere dealer, contact John Deere, Dept. FIN, 11145 Thompson Ave., Lenexa, KS 66219, 866/993-3373, visit or, or circle 154.
