Agriliance: Foaminator Dry

AGRILIANCE SAYS its new Foaminator Dry is a highly effective, dry silicone anti-foam/defoamer emulsion that offers significant advantages over liquid anti-foam products.

“By aggressively breaking up the foam that forms as spray tanks are mixed or filled, Foaminator decreases mixing and filling time and reduces material lost when tanks foam over,” says Bob Herzfeld, adjuvant marketing manager, Agriliance.

“Foam is one of the biggest aggravations related to spraying. Foaminator is the best dry anti-foamer we've seen for efficacy and flowability. And it works as effectively as the leading liquid anti-foam product.”

Further, he adds, because it's dry, Foaminator eliminates cold-weather storage problems associated with liquid products. “Liquid anti-foamers must be stored in heated areas. If they freeze, they separate, and even with vigorous shaking, it can be difficult to get them back into homogenous suspensions.” Herzfeld says Foaminator is unaffected by freezing temperatures. “It has a longer shelf life than liquid products and it remains free-flowing even in humid weather conditions.”

Foaminator controls excessive foaming but does not interact with the active ingredients in spray tank mixtures. It can be added to tanks through inductors or over the top, and is packaged in easy-to-use 8-ounce shaker containers.
