Benefit Auction Proceeds To St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Stock Realty & Auction Co. presented the proceeds of $53,032.52 from the Husker Harvest Days Benefit Auction to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. John Buhl and Ray Becker from Stock Realty & Auction Co. presented the check to St. Jude's fundraising representatives in Memphis, TN on November 15, 2011.

The funds were generated from auctions held at the Husker Harvest Days farm show in September.  Items sold were generously contributed by companies exhibiting at the show and many other businesses and individuals who donated products and gift certificates.

Stock Realty & Auction Co. has held this auction annually at Husker Harvest Days since 2006, over $250,000.00 have been donated over the past 5 years from this event.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.  Founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world.  No family ever pays treatments not covered by insurance and families without insurance are never asked to pay.  St. Jude is financially supported through fund raising events like these.
