2012 Farm Progress Show Volunteer Opportunities Available

Compiled by staff
Published: Jan 19, 2012

Service groups, youth organizations or non profit associations interested in earning funds for their affiliation can volunteer for activities at the Farm Progress Show, set for August 28, 29 and 30 in Boone, Iowa. A wide range of tasks are available during the show.

"There are opportunities for both large and small groups," says Matt Jungmann, Farm Progress National events manager. "The important thing to remember is availability all three days of the show is more significant than the size of the group."

The Farm Progress Show utilizes 550 volunteers each day of the show. Volunteers are needed for Parking/Admissions. Groups will be assigned to tasks according to the number of volunteers provided and paid accordingly.

If you are interested in more information regarding volunteer activities during the Farm Progress Show, contact Matt at (309)371-6117 or mjungmann@farmprogress.com.

Those interested in volunteering should contact Matt by May 31.

The 2012 Farm Progress Show takes place in Boone, Iowa, August 28, 29 and 30. The exhibit field is open to visitors 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. The public is welcome. For a full schedule of events and more detailed information, visit www.FarmProgressShow.com.
